PERTURBATION SOLUTION OF AXISYMMETRIC PLASTIC PROBLEM I-NECKING OF A BAR

Abstract: In this paper, basing on the general equations of axisymmetric plastic problems deducedin ref.[11], and employing perturbation technique, the asymptotic analysis for the necking problem is given.The result will pro vide knowledge of distribution of stress and strain in whole plastic region, thus, il will lead to a beller understanding of the necking phenomena in a tension specimen, such as the cup-cone type fracture.
