THE GENERAL SOLUTION OF SECOND ORDER EFFECTS IN ELASTIC HALF-SPACE ACTED UPON BY A NON-UNIFORM SHEAR LOAD

Abstract: This paper is a continuation of [1]. A closed form solution to the second orderelasticity problem, when an isotropic compressible elastic half-space undergoes adeformation owing to a non-uniformly distributed shear load, is presented. The method ofintegral transform is employed to determine the solutions.
