INCREMENTAL VIRTUAL WORK EQUATION FOR GEOMETRIC NONLINEAR ANALYSIS

Abstract: In this paper, an incremental virtual work equation is derived. It is suitable for geometric nonlinear analysis in finite element method. The effect of truncation errors is considered in the incremental virtual work equation.
